Great music, less filling!

(Update: At the request of Route9, I'm taking the music down from the blog.)

So, the a cappella group I sang with in college has just put the finishing touches on their second CD. Lots of the material was recorded while I was with the group, so my voice (and even some beat boxing) is on many of the tracks. Listening to the album makes me realize how long it's been since we were in the recording studio, but the results are actually pretty good. I've posted a few of the tracks below for you to check out. I know that some of the songs are a bit cheesy. I have nothing to say in our defense, other than that we were a bunch of 18-22 year olds trapped in Amherst, Mass. But I hope you like them anyways. (Hint: I sing lead on one of the songs; I wonder if you can figure out which one it is. No cheating, for those of you who know.)

Damn homie, I've been up on that Shai for a minute. I rocked that tape - and the cassette single - in the day. The hotness.

Man,

I've gotta say that my best guess is the Shai song is you. However, based on voice alone, the guy that I would sleep with would most definitely be the 'What It's Like' guy. God, I hope that's not you. Awk...Ward...

Awkward is right, Denis. I love you man, but not like that.

Hope you and your fam are doing well - and hopefully it won't be too long before my triumphant return to New York and we can commence kicking it once again!

So, Den-Den is the big winner: I sing lead on 'What It's Like'.
